Casa Do Portomene

There’s plenty of room for a big group, with 10 en-suite bedrooms and a large living room that can fit more than 20 people. The garden is lovely, and the location is very quiet, near the Ribeira Sacra and the surrounding area. The house is old and quite dark, though, and we didn’t find the beds very comfortable.

Everything was clean and welcoming, and the owner was great. The house is huge and very well laid out, with large bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. We also have to give a special mention to Nacho the dog. We’ll miss you, Nacho!

Beverly made things easy for us throughout the stay and made sure we had what we needed, even though we arrived on a holiday. The outdoor area is roomy and pleasant, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. The house is spectacular, with spacious rooms that each have a full bathroom, which makes things much easier when you’re traveling in a large group. There’s even an accessible room. The kids were so taken with the lovely, roomy outdoor spaces that they didn't want to leave. The house itself is peaceful, spacious, and very well equipped throughout. The owners were warm, attentive, and helped us with local activities. We had an incredible stay with our large group. Thank you for everything, Beverly and family!
