The room was roomy and clean, and the owner was really charming. We were pleasantly surprised by the hostel. It was 5 degrees outside, so it took a while for the room to warm up. The mattress sagged a little and could use replacing. The bathroom suited the room, but the hot water took time to arrive and kept changing temperature by itself. No hairdryer, either. Breakfast was basic, with hot chocolate or coffee, juice, and toast. The oldest part, where the restaurant is, could use a makeover, as could the guest rooms. Cheles is a charming town, and the hostel's a nice place to unwind.

That pot-brewed coffee is something I still remember. My short stay in Cheles left me with lovely memories, thanks to Charo, the hostel owner. She was so kind, welcoming, and generous, and the service matched her warmth. Thank you, Charo. I hope I can come back!

We had breakfast included, and it was really complete: coffee, juice, cakes, and bread with things like tomato or butter to spread on it. The village is small but has plenty of charm, and we'd definitely stay here again if we came back to the area. The hotel is in a great spot, right across from the village church. Charo was lovely and gave us a room that exceeded what we expected, with lots of space and a very large bathroom. She even checked whether we were happy with it and offered another room, though we were perfectly comfortable and didn't need to move.

The hostess was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and honestly, it was hard to leave. We had an unforgettable stay and a really pleasant surprise. For a good price, it's more than just a place to sleep. It's almost a mini-museum, full of objects that us "capital" folks don't usually get to see. If you're thinking of exploring the surrounding area, give this place serious consideration. You'll love it.
