We had the Green room, which opened straight onto the pool and had lovely views of the hills. The beds were really comfortable, and the showers were hot and powerful morning and night. We liked the decor too, a charming mix of rustic and Boho. The setting at finca Del Gecko is peaceful and beautiful. Monique & Leslie looked after us so well, from booking restaurants to pointing us towards the places we wanted to see. Breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine, with birds singing, was such a lovely start to the day. There’s an honesty bar where you can help yourself to beer, wine and other things, note down what you’ve had, then settle up before leaving. We stayed for four days, from 19th - 23rd April 2023, with our friends from the Netherlands, Bart & Annie. It was one of the most relaxing holidays I’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely come back next year. Thank you, Monique & Lesley, for such a wonderful stay.

Breakfast came to the table every day at exactly 9:30, with everything we could need. We liked that nothing went to waste. Our room was on the far side of the pool, and the bathroom there was very nice and well kept. The Dutch couple hosting us were so welcoming and really made an effort to help us feel at home.

Our hosts were wonderful and made our stay enjoyable with plenty of humor. The accommodation is beautiful and peaceful, while Malaga, Mijas and the beaches are still only about a half-hour drive away.

We felt at home straight away. Monique and Lesley are lovely people as well as excellent hosts, and Monique made a different, delicious breakfast each morning. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, in a quiet spot close to villages and beaches. We also really enjoyed the pool, the honesty bar and the shady place under the veranda. Amazing B&B, highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
