That cold AC was a lifesaver in Córdoba’s heat. When we visited, it was around 99 to 107, and the room gave us a welcome break after seeing the Mezquita-Cathedral, bell tower, Alcazar, and walking across the bridge. The furniture is dated and the floor tiles look dirty, but for a short stay the hotel was decent. You get what you pay for. I booked it as a backup for two days in case someone in my family got sick or needed somewhere to rest during our few hours in Cordoba. We did end up using it. At check-in you pick up the keys at the restaurant two doors away. There are three keys: one for the front door, one for your room, and one for the shared washroom. I probably wouldn’t stay here for a long time, but I’d book again for a short visit. It’s conveniently close to everything nearby.

Five-minute hot showers, stairs, bells ringing, and Ubers that can't get to the place. I'm not coming back.

The rooms are tiny and pretty bare, but clean. With such a good price and location, it’s a great deal for a short stay.

Room 3 on the first floor had no window, just one light fixture facing the shared courtyard where people from the other rooms were always passing. During the day I had to use a dim lamp to see, and there was no real privacy. Charging €100 for that space is outrageous. It belongs as a storage or tool room, not somewhere for people to sleep. The floor had one loose tile and another broken one with sharp edges that could easily cut your feet. The staircase was extremely narrow and felt unsafe, and there was no ramp or elevator, so a stroller or wheelchair couldn’t get in. The street door had an old-fashioned latch that left a gap of about two inches for light. It was noisy all night from the other rooms, and I felt completely unsafe with my belongings. The reception was in a separate building where they also run a restaurant, and they seemed focused on something else entirely. I chose the accommodation for its location, but the worst part came after I left: I’d forgotten my wallet in the bedside table drawer. I noticed on the night I got home and contacted reception. They asked me to call back at 2:00 PM the next day. Between the cleaning staff and the new tenant, I never heard from them again. They said the wallet wasn’t there. I’ve never left a review for any accommodation before. I’m usually very adaptable, but this was appalling. I’m filing a formal complaint with the Civil Guard and will also tell the Córdoba City Council’s planning department about everything. Does this place even comply with regulations? AWFUL!
