Safestay Cordoba Mezquita Catedral

The roof terrace was nice and the location was good, but I wish I’d paid a few euros more for a decent night’s sleep. The dorm was awful: the beds creaked so much that every movement woke everyone up. There were no windows or ventilation system. Leaving the door open was the only way to get air, but the window behind it faced an inner patio, so it didn’t bring in fresh air. The shared bathroom also couldn’t be locked. The architecture is gorgeous, though.

The photos showed single beds, but my assigned room had bunk beds, a clear difference from what was advertised. I raised it right away and chose not to stay, expecting them to sort it out reasonably. Instead, they refused a refund, relied on their “non-refundable” policy, and showed no willingness to address the mismatch. Communication was dismissive and unhelpful. I have photos of both the listing and the actual room, and they don’t match. I gave them a chance to resolve it fairly, but they didn’t. Be cautious, the photos may not show what you’ll get.

Safestay Hostel in Córdoba was clean, well looked after, and had a friendly feel. It’s in a convenient spot for exploring the city. I had a great stay and would recommend it for a short visit if you want comfort at an affordable price. 👌

The rooftop terrace, with its view across the city, was a highlight for my friends and me. We loved our stay in Cordoba: the location was perfect, the room was comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
