We found the apartment spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. It’s right in Cuenca’s historic center, so we could walk everywhere, and parking was only three minutes away. Even though we arrived late, the receptionist was very friendly, gave us all the information we needed, and checked in on us.

The view from the terrace was the standout for us, looking out over the Júcar River and the natural scenery around the city, especially at sunset. Alba was also great, giving us detailed information and advice. The apartment is on the main street of Cuenca’s historic center. It’s small but thoughtfully laid out, clean, well maintained, and has what you need for a comfortable stay. It would suit a couple, or a couple with one child. There are a lot of stairs in the building and to reach the apartment, which is typical of Cuenca’s old town. That makes it a poor fit for anyone with reduced mobility. It’s a charming, practical base for enjoying the city’s history and surroundings.

Alba checked us in and was very friendly, explaining everything in detail and sharing plenty of information about Cuenca and the surrounding area. The apartment itself was spotless, with comfortable beds, new-looking furniture and facilities, and working Wi-Fi. It had the essentials too, including linens, towels, dishes, kitchen utensils, and a sofa bed. Ours also had a fantastic terrace with lovely views. The location is excellent, close to Plaza Mayor in the heart of Cuenca’s historic center. There are quite a few stairs on the street and inside the building, depending on the floor, though that’s common around the center and isn’t the accommodation’s fault. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended.

There are two extra beds for the children, and the apartment itself was great. The location is very good, with parking about 100 meters away. Just be prepared for lots of stairs, so I’d suggest it for couples, friends, or families with older kids who don’t need a stroller.
