The view over Eibar is magnificent, and the house sits in a beautiful spot. The owner was friendly, but lives in the house, with only partitions separating the spaces and no sound insulation, so partying after midnight isn't possible. There are also two dogs that often howl in the morning, which made it hard to sleep well. When we were out doing activities, the owner would come into the house without warning. For a house this size, it was short on basics like dishes and glasses. If you need privacy or want to party as a group, this place isn't for you.

Getting there can be difficult if you don't know the area, though the house itself is spectacular. The rooms are cozy, but vary a lot in size and shouldn't all cost the same. Breakfast was good, but it ends at 9:00 a.m., so sleeping in or taking your time isn't really an option. The service was terrible, and the online reviews don't match my experience. Poor value for money. I won't return.

The owner's hospitality was lovely, and breakfast was delicious. The place was clean and very nice, though access was a little tricky. I couldn't sleep all night because spiders scare me. There were eight in the bathroom, and cobwebs on the wooden beams above the beds. I don't know if our room had been unused for a while, but there were a lot of spiders in it.

What stood out most was how welcoming everyone was. Esther treated me like a son, always kind and attentive, and her staff did the same. I stayed in Gezitxo, a comfortable, fully equipped room with a spotless bathroom, like the rest of the house. Esther explained the farmhouse's history with enthusiasm: some walls go back to the 12th century, while the main part dates from the 16th. It still has its original entrance gate, cow troughs, grain chests called trojes, and a few arrow slits that were once used to shoot arrows for defense. Breakfast was spectacular, with lots to choose from, including organic bread and cheese Esther makes. The farmhouse is surrounded by nature and has a fantastic price-quality ratio. I wholeheartedly recommend it for the warm staff, its cultural history, and the location. Thank you, Esther. Big hug from Málaga.
