Suites Plaza De Los Refinadores Maestranza

We stayed in Apartment 6, a two-bedroom place on the second floor, in late April. There were four adults in our family. It had plenty going for it: lots of room, a full bath plus a half bath, and a dishwasher. The location in Barrio Santa Cruz was great for the Alcazar, Seville Cathedral and restaurants. Jester was our favorite nearby cafe. It usually had no seats, so takeout was handy. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed, and the full bed was closer to a king in size. Nights were quiet in the apartment and neighborhood. The twin room has a barn door rather than a regular one, so it doesn't block sound as well. Air conditioning and WiFi both worked great, and there were enough outlets for our devices. WhatsApp communication with management was good. We could ask for extra towels and get answers to our questions. The door code worked on both the building entrance and apartment, which made it easy for everyone to come and go without coordinating keys. The kitchen was well equipped, and I especially liked the easy-to-use washing machine and oversized drying rack. Management provided two laundry detergent capsules and three dishwasher tablets. With one and a half bathrooms and plenty of mirrors, getting ready and putting on sunscreen was easier. We did notice there were no bins in either bathroom, just one in the kitchen. Families staying several days could also use a larger kitchen bin and extra bin bags. We ran into two problems. The hot water tank was too small for four showers in a row. There was barely enough for two, and the other two people had cold showers unless they waited an hour. A tankless heater able to handle four successive showers would make things more comfortable. Also, the kitchen window needs a blind or curtains so the person on the sofa bed can sleep in a dark room. Fix those two things and this would be a five-star property.

We had a really great stay and enjoyed it right through to the last moment. The apartments are great, and I'd recommend them to everyone.

I've traveled a lot, and this was one of the most helpful and accommodating hosts I've had. The place was great and in an excellent location 👌.

Such a great apartment. I'd highly recommend it to everyone.
