The water situation caused us a lot of trouble: the heater only had enough for one person to shower, which isn’t acceptable for a house for four. Cleanliness was poor throughout, especially in the kitchen. The cabinets looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years, inside or out, and the oven and extractor fan were just as bad. Grease was dripping from the dish rack, every dish and utensil had grease or food residue on it, and we had to wash everything before using it. There were even dead bugs in the sponge tray. There wasn’t enough tableware. Having two glasses per person, for example, would mean less constant washing and make better use of the dishwasher. Half the light bulbs had burned out, and the bedspreads were filthy. The beds had blankets, which feels outdated after the pandemic. It isn’t hygienic to sleep in bedding used by other people that hasn’t been washed. It was an average experience.

We’d definitely come back. It worked perfectly for two couples, with a bathroom in each bedroom, and the host was friendly.

What stood out most was the setting, with several hiking routes covering quite different themes. The apartment itself is very spacious and has all the necessary appliances, including air conditioning in all three rooms. A few things could use attention, though: there are some maintenance issues and not much kitchenware. The coffee maker was too small, and card payment wasn’t available.

A cozy place to rent for a trip to the mountains, and the price was good.
