The reception team were especially friendly and efficient, and everything from check-in through check-out went smoothly. We felt at ease and well looked after, and would gladly stay again. Hotel Soho Boutique Puerto combines cleanliness, elegance, and genuine hospitality, and deserves more than its official star rating. There’s secure parking right beside the hotel, and the location is a big plus: a short walk from the city center, with great tapas bars and amazing food nearby. Our room was comfortable and well equipped with a coffee machine, complimentary water, and a well-stocked minibar. The bright, stylish bathroom was perfectly clean. The whole hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and ready to help. It’s a great base for exploring El Puerto de Santa María and enjoying its local charm.

When I became ill, I asked if they could waive the cancellation fees, let me change the dates, or offer a voucher for a possible future stay. They refused all of it and said they didn’t care about my personal circumstances. Their main concern was that I pay the cancellation fees. I’ve never had a customer service experience this disappointing before.

The room was clean, but the rest of the stay was miserable because of the noise outside. There was loud music and shouting, including people blasting music at 5 AM. I called the only number listed for help, but whoever answered hung up on me. So I had to go down to reception in the middle of the night, which felt unprofessional. I asked them to call the police. They said they would, but the noise kept going, so I’m not sure whether they actually did anything. An extremely disappointing experience.
