Self check in takes patience, but the staff were super friendly online and in person, including the cleaning staff. The place was absolutely spotless and right on the Camino. It can get noisy when doors slam or people talk in the lobby, since the sound echoes. One of my best stays on the trail.

The air conditioning didn’t work, and its control was covered by a WiFi sticker. There was a fan, but it only ran when the light was on. The bare concrete floors and ceiling, with no soundproofing between rooms, made it feel more like a 2 star place at most, despite being listed as 3 star. I’d only book here if desperate.

A quiet, lovely place for a Camino stop, with a modern, stylish, clean room and a good location for the price. There’s no host on site, so I used the automated kiosk. Support was available online 24/7 and the service was very good.

The location is okay, but the concrete box style rooms and a shower that leaks all over the bathroom weren’t worth the trouble of the automated check in, which didn’t work very well. For the price, I expected a laundry area, but there isn’t one and I couldn’t find one nearby. As a pilgrim, I wouldn’t recommend Estella Rooms over another albergue or hostel.

The private room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I had a nice view of the church and square. It’s on the Camino, so just turn right when you leave, and there are restaurants nearby. Being across the river from the main square also made it quiet. The automatic check in gave me trouble, but I was able to call for help at the terminal.
