The apartment is huge, which was the one thing I liked. Everything else made for a rough night. The sofa bed was painfully hard, and the bathroom felt cramped, with a tiny sink area and a shower only around 60-70 cm across. There was hardly any sound insulation. I could hear people walking past, even cars several streets away. The curtains did little against the streetlight shining right at me, and by 7 a.m. there was too much light and noise to sleep. If you turn on the air conditioning, have water handy.

Everything I needed was close by, and the town center was just nearby. Really good.

I came away underwhelmed. Some of the other reviews make it sound better than it was.

Just an average stay.

For a single night, the spacious apartment and helpful, really friendly host made the stay work. Restaurants, bars, the shopping mall, and the city center are all close. The downsides were hard to miss. Parking is extremely tight, probably only manageable in a small Clio, and the bedroom's single-pane windows let in every sound. Cars were left running outside, people shouted about religion near the bar, and we barely slept. The curtains also let in plenty of light, so 3 a.m. felt like 7 a.m. If you're staying longer, bring proper earplugs and an eye mask.
