Los Tres Albares

The shared spaces and the setting were the best parts for us. There’s a pool, barbecue, kids’ playground, and a room full of games, books, and magazines, plus points of interest nearby. The village itself is tiny, just four houses, and very quiet. There’s no supermarket or restaurant there, but Fiscal is close by and has what you need. It’s a lovely area for getting away from everything, and the Aragonese Pyrenees are beautiful. We’ll come back next year, though I’m not sure which house we’d choose. Inside, the heat was hard to deal with and there was only a small fan. The bed was so uncomfortable that we couldn’t sleep during our stay. The amenities were also sparse. We had to buy basics like shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, and napkins. When you’re already carrying a lot of luggage, it would be a nice touch to have small portions of oil, salt, sugar, coffee, and those other essentials. The little things matter. Our first impression with the owner wasn’t good either. We arrived in the area at 3:00 PM and messaged her on WhatsApp to ask when we could check in. She said we could come in 15 minutes if we were nearby, or wait until 6:00 PM, so we went early. Instead of a welcome, she told us she hadn’t managed to prepare the extra bed and that check-in was at 6:00 PM because they needed to clean and rest. It felt like a real dressing-down. We offered to leave and come back at 6:00 PM if it was inconvenient, but she insisted we stay while reminding us of the rules. We were otherwise fine, aside from the heat, bed, and missing basics. When you work with the public, the impression you give matters, since it’s the first thing people experience.

The owners were incredibly helpful and gave advice suited to each family. We stayed in the cabin and had a fantastic vacation. The surrounding area is spectacular, with nearby excursions that’ll leave you speechless. We’ll definitely return!

La Falsa has a lovely attic-style upper floor, and the house itself is comfortable and beautiful. The Wi-Fi signal was quite weak, though. Los Tres Albares is a great place to switch off, with facilities kept in very good condition. The owners were professional and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended if you want to rest, relax, and spend time in nature.

Read the negative reviews before you book. I’d strongly advise being careful with this place. In my case, things went badly just while I was trying to make a reservation. I travel a lot, and honestly, I’ve never had such awful service at the booking stage. The owner was rude and unpleasant, as the Google reviews make clear. She also seemed either unwilling to take reservations or unhappy in her job, I don’t know. If prospective customers are treated this way, I can’t imagine how we’d have been treated after arriving. Definitely somewhere I’d avoid. There are plenty of other options in the area. Don’t let them make your vacation a nightmare.
