Albergue Mar De Rostro

The bedding was old and unpleasant, squeaking and shifting around. Rooms were crowded, there were no plugs, and the bathroom felt dated and wasn’t clean. It costs as much as, or more than, other albergues. I’d avoid it.

I stayed three nights on two separate visits, and the place was consistently clean, with comfortable beds and good facilities. What stood out most was how friendly and helpful the hosts were. I saw some reviews calling it poor or average, but for the price, location, and the hosts’ kindness, I think it deserves at least four stars. I’d stay again and recommend it. Thanks for making me feel at home.

I was expecting very basic lodging, so it was a nice surprise to have everything I needed and more. There’s a handy kitchen, space to do laundry, a balcony for quiet sitting, clean rooms, great showers, and comfortable beds. The windows bring in natural light, which was helpful while others were napping. It’s also an easy walk to either side of the water, and very centrally located.

A clean, welcoming hostel. The host was friendly and told me lots about the city and things to do. I’d stay here again.
