Casas Mar de Fisterra

We liked it so much that we added another night. The beach is only a two-minute walk away, and the hotel sits clear of the town center bustle. From our room, a whole wall of windows opened up to the sea breeze and a lovely view. The value for the price was amazing, easily the nicest place we stayed on the Camino and maybe the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast came with the stay, and the buffet had plenty: eggs, rye and Galician bread with olive oil and tomato, butter and jam, pastries, yogurt with muesli, and fruit. They made coffee drinks to order and had fresh-squeezed orange juice. The dining room also looks out over the sea.

Our room was roomy and clean, with a nice view from the window. The shower had really good pressure, too. It’s easy to walk from the inn to both the beach and nearby restaurants, and you can park on the street right outside. Breakfast was included, with toast, cereal, pastries, meat and cheese, orange juice, and fresh coffee made to order.

We had a lovely couple of days unwinding after the Camino de Santiago. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortably spacious, both with a great view, and the shower was a pleasure to use. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast is simple, but the views make it special. It’s a good spot for an ocean view and a beach walk, and you can finish the 3k to Fisterra from here. There’s also a lovely restaurant next door that opens in the evenings.

Angeles made our stay especially enjoyable. She was attentive, professional, and friendly. We loved the views and the fantastic breakfast, and the location was excellent. One of the best places we’ve stayed. Highly recommended.
