Casbah Formentera Hotel & Restaurant

The room was small and had no storage, not even a little closet. The fireplace was just decoration and couldn't be used for security reasons, so if you visit in the off season and it's chilly, the room stays cold. I found the hotel service extremely rude and clueless, especially the blonde woman at reception, something I saw mentioned in other reviews. I thought maybe people were exaggerating, but it was true and made the holiday unpleasant. There were kids everywhere: we counted 15 in the pool at 5 pm one afternoon, making so much noise that we couldn't relax in the pineta. Breakfast was just as noisy, with kids running and screaming. The coffee was disgusting, and the overnight oats were made that morning, just milk with some oats in it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and would suggest finding somewhere else on this beautiful island.

Lovely people, great place, and delicious food! We especially enjoyed the homemade bread. The grape mocktail was a top pick too. ❣️🍇

We were really happy with our hotel choice. The staff were friendly and the facilities were good, with handy extras like a lift to a nearby bike rental place and pilates. Dinner was the real highlight, with dishes from a Bilbao chef that were close to Michelin-star quality, served in a lovely garden. The breakfast buffet was good too, though it costs €25. Prices felt a bit high, but that's true across the island.

We spent four days at this cute hotel, and the restaurant was really good with a lovely atmosphere. Patricia was my favorite staff member, so energetic and thoughtful, and she took great care of us. Angel was awesome too. Thank you both!
