Our large group was there for a business trip from September 22 to 26, and every member received inadequate treatment over those five days. The manager was absolutely rude and unbearable. The hotel itself is in an ideal spot near the marine pools and a five-minute walk from the centre. The rooms were quite clean and breakfast was adequate.

The terrace has a stunning ocean view, and the lavapools of Garachico are right in front of the hotel. We really enjoyed the owner’s careful attention to detail in the decor. The rooms are cozy, air-conditioned, and have good guest WLAN. We had a great two-week stay, thanks in large part to the very friendly owner couple and staff. Thank you for such a lovely time! :)

The top terrace alone is worth the price of admission, with its lovely views. Breakfast is fantastic, and having it in a covered outdoor spot makes it feel extra special. A wonderful hotel in a historic town, right on the ocean and close to plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars.

The room was small and not laid out very well, and there’s no elevator. Still, the location is superior, and it’s very pleasant to sit on the shared balcony looking out at the sea and mountains.

Step outside the room and there’s an incredible ocean view. My room at Gara Hotel in Garachico was clean, charming and relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with local meats and cheeses. Thanks to Miguel & Sonia for their hospitality and for the experience. I highly recommend the hotel.
