The waterfront view from the common room is beautiful, and there’s a full grocery store just a block away, with cafes and restaurants close by too. This place has a full kitchen, towels, down comforters, and several bathrooms, so you can get some privacy for a shower. Clean, efficient, and staffed by great people who seem to have thought of everything to make things easy and enjoyable for pilgrims.

A very pilgrim-friendly hostel, and I’d happily stay again if I’m in Gijón. The bed was comfortable and had curtains, while the kitchen was cute and stocked with appliances, tea, and coffee. The place was clean and tidy, the staff were really friendly, and the beach view was wonderful. They’ve put thought into every corner.

The living room has a fabulous ocean view, and rooms 1-3 also have a window view. The kitchen has lots of extras. A lovely hostel, super clean, with helpful staff.

It’s oddly located in an office building, but the setup works, and the seaside views are wonderful. This feels more like a cozy boutique hotel, with terrific facilities. I arrived and immediately added a second night, taking a zero day on the Camino. After that, I took a bus to skip the industrial outskirts of Gijon.

We were traveling with two small children and got plenty of use out of the shared kitchen and lounge/playroom. The host was responsive, and the check-in instructions and communication were clear. The location couldn’t be better. Everything was excellent, clean, and beautiful.
