Bed & Breakfast 10 Girona

I booked through Booking and was charged €100 from my personal bank account as a “deposit,” even though that wasn't included in the total on my receipt. The receipt showed €125 plus €0.66, but they then wanted me to pay another €125.66 there. The man working there was rude, and I don't know if it was because I'm white. He started shouting that I could only sleep on the street. They never returned my money. The next day Booking notified me that the property said I hadn't stayed because I couldn't pay and that my card details were invalid. Yet those details were valid when they took the €100. There were many more hidden costs. It was a terrible experience, and I hope nobody else goes through it. If they want to charge €100 or more, that should be included in the payment total. I lost my money, nobody will be held responsible, and that's the end of it.

The room was clean and small, which worked fine since I was travelling alone. Both receptionists were polite and nice, and breakfast was available for €5 a day. There's also a reasonably priced supermarket nearby. The location is great, about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. You can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, though, and there's no elevator.

The room was small, but just right for one person. It was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the location worked well: close to the main train station and around a 15-minute walk from the city centre. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were lovely and really helpful, and the air conditioning was a nice extra. I liked the window with electronic shutters, which made the room feel private and cosy. It's a simple little hotel with the basics covered, good for sleeping and showering. There's a grocery store five minutes away, and Girona town is about a 20-minute walk. A great choice if all you need are the essentials.
