Casa Estarque

We found several restaurants an easy walk away, and the area itself was so quiet. The owner lives next door and was always attentive and ready to help. Inside, the shared living room, kitchen, and book-and-board-game sitting room gave the place a real at-home feel. Our bedroom was renovated, spacious, spotless, and had its own bathroom, like the other bedrooms. We had a great stay over the December bank holiday weekend and will definitely return. 10/10.

The homemade cake at breakfast was delicious, and there was everything you could want to eat. The host was lovely the whole time, and the house is fantastic. There are only a few rooms, which gives it a homely feel. We were there for a couple of days, and when we arrived before check-in needing somewhere to work, she let us use the library. Anything good we say still feels like it falls short.

We stayed in the penthouse as a group of four. It was clean and cozy, and the location worked perfectly for us, about 8 minutes from Baiona. Thanks so much, we'll be back.

I've stayed at Casa Estarque twice already, and I'll keep it in mind for future trips to the area. The family are such warm hosts, they make you feel like one of them instead of a tourist passing through, and they're happy to help with anything. The house itself has a special charm and tasteful decor that feels more like home than a hotel. You get a spacious, comfortable room and private bathroom, while the rest of the house is shared with other guests. The kitchen has everything, and there's a varied breakfast. I have a lot of affection for the house and the family 😊
