Casa Bombo is right in the heart of the Albaicin, with Mirador San Nicolas up the hill and Plaza Nueva down the hill. We loved the terrace and dining-area views of Alhambra, and the staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our bathroom had a bath and shower, which suited us, and there was good storage in the room. There’s no chair in the room, but you can sit in the dining room or out on the patio. There isn’t a kettle in the room either, though the kitchen has one, along with tea and chilled drinking water for guests to help themselves. Breakfast is a simple continental spread: fruit, yoghurt, oats, a few cereals, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, bread, plenty of jams, biscuits or muffins, cheese, and ham. There’s also a tiny pool and a licensed bar. We’d happily stay again if we return to Granada. One thing to know: taxis can only get a few narrow, steep streets away, so it’s not ideal with large suitcases. We managed fine with a small case and a backpack. Pack light and give Casa Bombo a try.

This lovely little hotel is in the Albayzin, with great views over Alhambra. Bars, restaurants, and nightlife are all within a 10-minute walk. Highly recommended!

After a tiring travel day, we were welcomed with such warmth and professionalism. The setting is gorgeous, with views of L’Alhambra at different times of the day. Our room was beautiful and had thoughtful touches everywhere, from the hand soaps and fluffy towels to the lovely tiles. I spent some time writing at the cafe tables on the terrace, where we also had breakfast and a light evening aperitivo of cheeses and Iberia ham. Every staff member was gracious and helpful, and they each made the stay feel special. We were sad to leave.

The patio at Casa Bombo was a wonderful, unusual place to relax, with views better than any we found elsewhere in the city. The women running the place were so kind and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend it, as long as the steep hills aren’t a problem for you. That’s true of any place in Albaicín.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Boma. The Alhambra view from our room was unforgettable, and the staff were so friendly, kind, and caring that we felt at home throughout. The location is central and makes it easy to explore the city on foot. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to each day. I can’t recommend Casa Boma enough for a visit to Granada. A fantastic experience from beginning to end!
