Hotel Porcel Sabica

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good, especially the yoghurt. The small pool was refreshing. Our room was nice but one of the smallest, and the bed felt small too, so the first night wasn't great. The hot water sometimes turned cold, and the outdoor air conditioning unit was noisy in the morning. The hotel doesn't offer parking, and a garage made a three-day stay expensive.

We stayed one night and found it a good choice, with the city center within walking distance. Parking at a nearby underground garage can cost 10 EUR a day if booked through parking websites. Our clean room faced an inner courtyard, so there wasn't a city view. The hotel seems to be made up of several buildings. The shower was a little small but reasonable, and the staff were nice. All fine.

Great location, fair prices, and solid customer service and housekeeping. The bathroom smelled of sewage around the toilet and bidet. Since cooling is turned off in winter, opening the windows was the only way to circulate air or cool the room. On the third day, an electrician came to replace a faulty bathroom switch.

As a base for getting around, this is a good place to stay, and most places we wanted to visit were walkable. Breakfast was fresh and nice, though the same each day. Parking is available, and they ask about your car size when booking because the lift is tight for larger cars. At the end of April, the advertised pool was still closed, despite being one reason we packed swimsuits and towels. There was no notice that it was unavailable, which felt a bit naughty and affected my rating.
