Holiday Inn Express Barcelona-Montmeló by IHG

The hotel is conveniently close to Circuit of Catalunya, and the beds were comfortable. There’s a seating area, and when we asked, they gave us a plate and a mug of hot water so we could have our fruit in the evening. Breakfast was good and had variety, plus they brought gluten-free bread on request.

Parking was free and easy to find, and the staff were really helpful, suggesting some lovely places to visit. We stayed three nights, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The rooms were good, although there was no fridge or bottled water in ours. Breakfast was good but the options were limited. We still enjoyed our stay and recommend trying this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. This hotel suits travelers who'd rather stay outside busy Barcelona. If you plan to take the bus, pay attention to the timetable since buses can be delayed, especially the last ones late at night.

Service was great and the price is hard to beat, but I have mixed feelings. The location only really makes sense if you're visiting the racetrack. There are very few food options nearby, basically delivery pizza, and I had a hard time getting a taxi. My advice is to ask reception to book one well ahead instead of using a taxi app. The train ride into the city is good, but the station is about 3 km away, and the bus doesn't run very often. Wifi was unreliable for me too.
