We only stayed briefly, but the facilities were clean and well looked after. The views from the campsite are magnificent, especially from the bar.

Reception staff were very nice and multilingual, and most campers were respectful, so nights were generally quiet. The site was clean and pleasant. Our pitch near reception was on really uncomfortable gravel, so bring mats for sitting or kneeling. We were also close to the road, where loud motorcycles went past now and then. I was disappointed that the lights stayed on all night, shining into our tent and attracting insects and moths.

The homemade artisan pizzas were delicious, and the little bar had a friendly feel. The team were really helpful and went out of their way to book local activities for us. We had excellent accommodation and good site facilities, all in a beautiful spot near plenty of well-marked walking routes of different lengths.

We stayed for 7 nights and would gladly return. After 23:00 it was wonderfully quiet. The pool was very clean, and there were covered barbecues. The toilets and showers were spotless, with hot water that was easy to adjust and had good pressure. At reception we were welcomed warmly and could pick any empty pitch. We chose a shaded spot among the trees in the lowest part of the site. I’d definitely recommend it.
