Casa Rural Valdeamor

A lovely base for taking in the valley and the village. The place is cozy, clean, and attractive, and the location is great. The owner was attentive and provided excellent service. Highly recommended.

The house itself is lovely, but a few things made it less comfortable. There was no hand soap in any bathroom, and for 15 people over three days they left only three dishwasher tablets. Firewood cost €10, and we weren't allowed to bring our own. Leaving after noon on Sunday also meant an extra charge of €5 per person.

The house was decent, but the lack of privacy bothered our whole group. The owner and another man kept coming and going through the front door, and we'd run into them in the front yard. That didn't feel normal to us. Check-in was awkward too: everyone's name, surname, street, postal code, and signature were written by hand on a piece of paper. Since we arrived at different times, the owner had to return and do it again. We weren't comfortable with that. There were other things missing. No shower gel in the bedrooms, and no basics like salt or napkins, which we've had in other houses. The kitchen utensils were very old, some were missing, and a few were dirty. The sofa was dirty as well. I’m sorry, but I can't recommend the place.

The kitchen, living room, and patio have a homely feel, and the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. It’s quiet enough to escape everyday noise, while the town center is still only five minutes away. A friendly, professional place to come back to after exploring the Ambroz Valley.
