San Marcos

The marble in the entrance really shines, and my room was private and clean. The janitor came in almost every day while I was out, cleaned, and left my belongings alone. Great first nights in Spain, and I’d stay again. Breakfast was the letdown. I had to leave early for an adventure crew, PixelVertical, but it didn’t start until 8, even though the poster on my door said the schedule was flexible. The pipes also rattle now and then.

After a long ride, I found the air con wasn’t working and went to reception. The person there said they hadn’t realised I wanted it and would switch it on from the desk. Back upstairs, still no air con. At reception again, I was told it could take a few hours. I went out for a meal, came back, and it was still off. I was fobbed off the whole time. The place also felt unpleasant and run down. Don’t waste your time.

Handy for exploring Huesca, with a good location. The soundproofing is poor, though.

The rooms and breakfast are small, as is typical for Spanish hotels, and you probably won’t spend much time in the room anyway. The rates are in line with Spanish hotels.
