Hotel Vibra Algarb

The food had a great selection and was delicious, and the afternoon DJ was a nice, relaxed touch. I loved the atmosphere, the views, and how clean and well organized everything was. My only issue was hearing the neighbors talking loudly and doors slamming through the walls. Some nights were quiet, so it may depend on who's next door, and it's probably fine if you're not very sensitive to noise.

The staff who kept our spirits up were Juani, Paula, Irene, Sylvia, and Nara, the cook. They were engaging and great with us and the other guests, and honestly made the holiday bearable. They were a real credit to the hotel. My party didn't enjoy the stay overall. Guests ran through the corridors shouting and knocking on doors all night, and staff did nothing about it. The others in my party couldn't sleep, even with sleeping tablets. The reception team made a poor impression too. They moved at a glacial pace and none of them smiled. The hotel being rated four stars is baffling to me. There was no kettle in the room, and despite all-inclusive, morning coffee meant paying at a machine in the lobby. The quilt I used had a cigarette burn. It was never replaced, even after room cleaning, which at first meant only changing towels, making the bed, and emptying the bin. Proper cleaning didn't start until after three days. There were other things that didn't seem four-star worthy, including push-button hand dryers in the men's toilets while the women's had more hygienic blowers.

The rooms were extremely small and nothing like the photos online. For an all-inclusive hotel, I was also surprised there was no proper bottled-water service. The snack area by the pool shut whenever the weather got a little colder, even though guests might have planned to use it or wanted to sit under cover. Breakfast changed randomly from day to day and felt poorly organized. Cocktails at the bar seemed clearly lower quality when included in the all-inclusive package than when bought with cash. Room cleaning was superficial. They changed the beds and towels, but didn't properly clean the tables, floors, or sinks. The tables around the pool and the sunbeds were often dirty too. Each morning, restaurant staff dragged chairs instead of lifting them, making so much noise that it was impossible to enjoy breakfast or even have a peaceful coffee. I travel a lot, and this was far below what I expected for the price. I'm really not satisfied and wouldn't recommend it at that cost.

Every day Bianca left our room spotless, neatly organized, and perfectly refreshed, even with a big group of girls getting ready and rushing around. Her kindness, attention to detail, and care made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She was always smiling, warm, and positive, and kept making sure everything was right. Her hard work added so much to our trip and made our bachelorette celebration feel even more special. Thank you, Bianca. We're so grateful for your dedication, and you're amazing at what you do.
