After our climb up Mount Mendaur, we stopped here for lunch. The €17 set menu came with a starter, main, and dessert, and we also had steak with salad and potatoes for €17. The homemade food was cooked really well, with just-right portions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We'd happily return and recommend it.

A cozy, simple place that feels like good value. The staff are lovely and always happy to suggest things to see and do. Breakfast and dinner are straightforward and tasty, though perhaps a little expensive. Since it's a hostel, I did miss having a shared kitchen.

We'd already returned by the time I thought to take a photo, the food disappeared that quickly. The entrecote was amazing, and the mushroom crepe was incredible 🫢. We also had vegetarian options, with personal, excellent service. Every dish was delicious, especially the Basque cake, one of the best I've ever tasted. Someone recommended the place to us, and it was absolutely the right call.

We really enjoyed the hostel and the area around it during our couple of days there with the kids. Some facilities, including the playroom and cafeteria, had to stay closed under the COVID-19 restrictions, but everything else was great. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well equipped, the staff were attentive and helpful, and breakfast was varied each day.

Even with the bad weather, we had a lovely weekend. The hostel was excellent value, and breakfast was good. Two very nice women gave us suggestions for places to visit, which added to the stay. The place and its surroundings are beautiful, and we'd highly recommend it.
