You’re paying for the location, because everything else was awful. The apartment was filthy and much too expensive for its condition. There was damp everywhere, peeling walls, a moldy toilet, grimy mattress covers, and a sofa full of stains. I hadn't felt so disgusted by a shower in ages. We raised the problems with the guy, who said someone should have come by for a quick check, but described it as just a quick check even though the apartment wasn't fit to stay in.

The sofa was so dirty it was impossible to sit on, and the damp had made the walls peel. The whole place was a disaster. When we told Natalia, she blamed the smell on the previous tenants not airing it out before leaving. But hadn't the cleaning staff been in between guests? And were the peeling walls really just a coincidence?
It's right in the center, but the apartment was very dirty. There was lots of dust on all the kitchen furniture, plus quite a bit of damp in the bathrooms and living room.
The apartment was spacious and modern, and well placed for exploring Jerez's historic center. The cleanliness could be better, and the bed linen needs replacing.
Ground Floor 3 was dirty, noisy from the AC units, other apartments' patios, and the street, and an outside window wouldn't shut. There was no Wi-Fi either. The whole setup was a mess, and Ms. Bibiana's service was terrible and completely unprofessional. When I couldn't get the apartment door open, I called her and she rudely hung up. She turned up ten minutes later and threatened to file a police report, so we decided to switch apartments. We'd booked two nights, but the next day my agency moved me to another place in Jerez.
