Jerez has become one of my favorite places, and I’m already looking forward to another stay at Los Olivos. The apartment has a large bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, all the amenities, lots of books, and a large-screen TV. Juan and Amelia were great hosts, and the apartment is spacious, quiet, safe, and less than a 10-minute walk from the center. Juan sent useful information before my trip, with ideas for what to do and where to go, including restaurants, flamenco shows, and bodagas tours. His recommendations were solid. He also helped me check train times for a trip to Cadiz and arranged taxis to and from the airport. I met Amelia briefly at breakfast when I arrived, and she was lovely. I visited the alcazar and cathedral, which are next to each other, as well as bodegas traditional and puro arte for real flamenco. A day trip to Cadiz is a good idea, and Puerto de Santa Maria is a quaint little town with one of the oldest bodegas, Bodegas Osborne. Juan’s tapas and tabernas tips were worth following. I couldn’t get to all of them, but the ones I tried were great. I also had lunch at the restaurant of bodegas fundador, which was a great find. Thanks for a memorable stay.

The hosts really made this nice apartment stand out. They sent information before we arrived, suggested things to do and places to eat, and checked in to make sure everything was right. It’s in a good location, and I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.

The owner was incredibly attentive and dedicated, and the street is quiet. It’s especially handy for cooking and buying ingredients, and the decor is tasteful. I had a great stay and honestly can’t think what else I’d want.

We spent two weeks there, and it was the right choice. The service was outstanding, and every little detail in the apartment seemed thought through. The area is quiet, with no noise, and that mattress was incredibly comfortable. We slept like babies every night. 100% recommended.
