We paid for two nights but left after the first. The room was so tiny it felt claustrophobic, and the window looked straight onto a wall of the neighboring building. It was also hard to unlock the door, even with the right code. In the bathtub there was mold, and there wasn't even a toilet cleaning implement. I can't recommend this place.

We booked Hotel Villa Marta online via Booking because the room was advertised with a balcony, which was very important to us. When we arrived, they gave us a room without one and initially didn't want to offer the balcony room we thought we were due. We only got it after saying we'd cancel and move to another hotel. The replacement room had plenty wrong with it. The shower head was broken, so we couldn't shower properly, and the bathroom had mold. There were dirty marks on the furniture, plus a huge dead plant taking up about a third of the balcony. There were no basic facilities such as a fridge or safe.

One of the worst hotel stays I've had, and I've traveled a lot. The rooms were moldy, with a horrible rotten smell from the sewers that made it impossible to stay in the first one. Reception kindly moved us to another room, but that one was moldy and smelly too, though better than the first. I'd strongly advise avoiding the hotel until they fix the odor. Absolutely disgusting rooms, full of mold and a terrible putrid smell.

Really good stay, with clean rooms and an excellent receptionist. I'll definitely come again!
