Marta and Alicia made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, with the kind of personal attention that felt like being guests in their own home. My partner and I had a memorable stay at Casa De Aldaca Rural, tucked into the Spanish countryside. The mix of rustic character, modern comforts, and warm hospitality exceeded what we expected. It felt peaceful and special, whether for a romantic break or a quiet escape from city life. We can't wait to come back. Gracias, Marta & Alicia, for such a lovely experience.

We were a little early for the cherry blossoms in Jerte and had some rainy weather, but evenings by the fireplace and chats with Marta and Alicia more than made up for it. The sisters were lovely hosts. Marta speaks fluent English and German, and was happy to let us practice our Spanish with her patiently. The 1810 house has been beautifully restored and decorated, and felt comfortable throughout. Our bed was luxurious, the shower had great hot water, and breakfast came with a view of the garden. Three wonderful nights, among our most enjoyable stays in Spain.

The breakfast on the outside terrace was the finishing touch, with bread, local ham, cheese, juice, water, and fruit from the garden all thoughtfully laid out. Los Pilones is also close by, a great place for an hour of hiking and bathing that shouldn't be missed. The rooms are distinctive and very clean, and the living room, reception, hall, and den all blend into one space that feels grand and luxurious. Marta and Alicia give the place an unusually honest, natural kind of care, like what you might find at a hotel costing $500/night or more. If the mood is right, they'll spend time with you, listen closely to your story, and share theirs too. Thank you for the warm welcome and for letting us stay in such an awesome place. Great location, lovely people. That was awesome.

A lovely spot for a weekend or a longer stay. The old building has been restored with care, both in the small details and the overall feel. Breakfast was delightful. You can swim in the village's natural pool, hike through quiet mountain country, or simply stay in and read or relax.

The quiet here is absolute, and the views from the beautiful house are lovely. Alicia gave us helpful advice about the area and made the place feel welcoming. So many small touches stood out, from the scent, fresh flowers and fireplace to the dining room music and delicate sugar bowl and cups. The quality shows in the homemade cake, fresh fruit presented so nicely, and the shower gel and lotion. A perfect stay.
