4/10
The customer service at both the restaurant and hotel was really good. We had two rooms, 6 and 10. My colleague’s room was fine, but my air conditioning in room 6 didn’t cool at all. We also had no hot water. The front desk said they’d turned off the pressure valve overnight, though I’m not sure why.

I don’t get the positive reviews. There’s no atmosphere and nothing to do nearby. Dinner costs a lot and isn’t anything special, and breakfast was the worst I’ve had at a hotel, just a couple of stale ham and cheese sandwiches.

Quiet and peaceful, with plenty of parking, about 45 minutes from Barcelona. The old paper mill in the middle of nowhere has been turned into a cool hotel, with modern, spacious rooms and very friendly service. Breakfast was simple, but tasty.

The staff were great and very attentive, and I had a very nice stay. The only issue was the shower in the evening, which was just lukewarm even on full heat. I’ll come back next time I’m in Igualada.

A peaceful place to rest or get some work done. The service was nice, and the owner was great and very helpful. I recommend this hotel as it is, nothing needs changing.
