When my daughter became very ill, the night receptionist was an absolute hero. He called an ambulance, handed me his phone, and brought fresh towels at 5.30 in the morning. His kindness and support meant the world to us. Thank you so much. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere and a fascinating history. Our room was clean, breakfast was good, and the location made it easy to explore the old town.

The rooms were okay, breakfast was decent, and booking through their own website was easy and hassle free. The staff were good, and the location worked well. It’s interesting that they don’t make more of the monastery theme, since it’s literally the same complex as the San Isidora. We’d stay here again.

Staying in an old monastery was the main experience for us, especially since a small part is still a monastery. It’s right in the heart of the old town, which was a perfect location. The room was comfortable and fine, and breakfast had fresh products and a good selection.

The room was very warm, so I asked reception about it. They said the air conditioner wasn’t working at the hotel in May 2025, then just shrugged as if guests were expected to accept that. Not good enough. I wouldn’t recommend it.

A memorable stay in a magical place. The rooms are small, in keeping with the building’s history, and both the service and breakfast were great. It was a shame I couldn’t have dinner with a show in the magnificent courtyard.
