The place was clean and quite pleasant, but it felt more like apartments in a building than a hotel. There’s no official entrance, which can be confusing if you’re not used to that setup. We paid €20 for a bed in a shared room, more than the Camino average, probably because León is a big city and the cathedral is just a stone’s throw away. The room had excellent Wi-Fi, handy for planning the next day, and check-out at 11:00 a.m. was great for sleeping in. There’s no proper dining room, so you eat in the living room, far from the kitchen, which shares space with the laundry area. We also barely slept because someone in the room was snoring like a pig. I’ve never heard anything like it, and it was unbearable. It was a rough stay, and I’m honestly torn about whether I can recommend the place.

Thank you, Borja and Anna, and thank you to León Hostel! I spent several days here and had an excellent time. The common room is big, comfortable, and nice, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There’s also a washer and dryer. The staff were great, and the rooms perfectly clean and comfortable. It’s close to the city center, with everything just a few minutes’ walk away. I loved staying here and will come back whenever I can.

Ana is a really welcoming host, and I’d recommend this hostel wholeheartedly. It’s right on El Camino Francés as it passes through Léon, very clean, well equipped, and great value for money.

The room was beautiful, everything worked, and thoughtful little touches like a chest of drawers and coat hangers were lovely. The location was perfect for the Camino and sightseeing. There’s also a beautiful common room with comfortable couches, a dining table, and a terrace looking out onto the street below. The staff are multilingual, friendly, helpful, and work hard to keep the place tidy and clean. Please help out by washing your own dishes in the fully stocked communal kitchen. I highly recommend it.
