Our room was good, probably one of the nicer ones we’ve had at an all-inclusive resort. We did get some bugs on the 5th floor and a lot of ants came in from the balcony, but that didn’t worry us much in a warm climate. The food was repetitive and often cold, though there was plenty of choice. We had the relaxing week we needed without any major worries. What really made the place was the staff. Sammy in animation was a legend, funny and helpful, always making time for people. His pool aerobics were unforgettable, he gave it everything and made us laugh. Maya and Louison were stars with the guests and their children, and clearly cared about people. At reception, Diana, Laurence and Cloe were always smiling, full of useful advice, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We appreciated their multilingual skills. Cezar at the bar was lovely and quick to serve while still giving great service. We’d take the whole team on our next holiday if we could. Everyone needs a Sammy in their life, what a gentleman 😊

The hotel was clean, but even the floors around the pool, cafeteria and bar were so slippery that I nearly fell four or five times while pregnant. The pool was absolutely freezing, definitely not heated. I’d call this two stars at best, nowhere near four. We stayed for a week with my partner, and it was one of the worst holidays I’ve had. Our bathroom had gunk on the wall and long black hairs, no ventilation and a constant odd smell that affected the room. The air conditioning smelled bad too. We repeatedly had to ask for toilet paper, which wasn’t replenished during daily cleaning, and once the cleaner took our towels without leaving replacements. Another cleaner moved our suitcases and touched my makeup and other belongings. I eventually found my valuables, but didn’t think personal items should be handled. The cafeteria was grim. Bugs and debris were in the window gaps, the plates and glasses had food and didn’t look properly cleaned, and we saw a staff member put cutlery back on the table after guests had sat there without cleaning it. At breakfast there wasn’t a clean table, so we had to sit at one covered in people’s things. It stayed dirty for about 20 minutes even though the cafeteria wasn’t busy. I expect basic hygiene, especially from a hotel rated four stars. I also saw grease dripping from a kitchen fan onto food. The rest of the food was good, and the fruit was nice, so I had no other food complaints. Staff didn’t know much English, and even basic communication could be difficult. The hotel caters to French guests rather than English ones. I booked through TUI, but there was no TUI rep, so when I had an issue there was no English-speaking person to talk to, and staff didn’t understand my complaint. I’ve stayed in hotels across Cyprus, Thailand, Vietnam, America, Egypt and elsewhere, and this was the worst. Two stars at best.

The manager deserves credit: he sorted out the problems guests brought to him, and when a lifeguard got physical with my son, he argued with the lifeguards and told them to back off. They’d been trying to stop our boys using the slides because they said they were too big, even though adults were using them. The pools were lovely, but closing at 6.30pm seemed far too early. The hotel has potential, but I’d rate it three stars at best. We were on the top, fifth floor with our six-month-old, which wasn’t ideal because the lifts felt unsafe. The door sensor was temperamental and tried to close while we were halfway out. We asked twice to move to the ground floor and were told to check back the next morning because the hotel was full. On the third morning, a lift door hit my daughter on the head. I complained at reception and was told we could move the following day, but we decided moving both rooms for just a few days wasn’t worth the hassle. The food ruined the stay. We booked all-inclusive with five children so we wouldn’t have to worry about feeding them, but the food was awful, with little variety and no alternatives if you didn’t like what was served. The meat was so processed we couldn’t tell what it was. The snack bar had only chips and leftovers from breakfast and lunch. It was our first bad all-inclusive experience, and we wouldn’t return. I’d read recent complaints about food and seen the hotel reply that there were themed nights and show cooking, but we saw neither during our week. I wondered if catering was neglected because the hotel was closing for the season at week’s end. Frozen profiteroles at breakfast made it feel like they were clearing out the freezers 😂 The hotel itself looked lovely, was clean and had mostly friendly staff and cleaners. But we won’t be back.

We had an amazing all-inclusive week with my husband and our two children, aged 10 and 2. The animation team and evening shows were fantastic, and we enjoyed the varied food, which changed every day. Bar service was very good, staff were friendly, the pools were great to spend time in, and the hotel was clean throughout. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The one issue was late checkout. We asked and were first told yes, and that we should pay the next morning before 11. But when we went to reception to pay, we were told we couldn’t check out late. That made the morning rushed and stressful after we’d expected extra time. Otherwise, it was a brilliant experience, and I’d go back or recommend it.

It was my first vacation, and I’m leaving in a great mood with a lovely feeling. The employees are happy people, full of love and character. I’m very satisfied and grateful for everything.
