We were in Logroño during San Mateo, the Rioja wine festival, so there was music and partying until 3am. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Still, the parking directions they sent didn’t work because roads were closed, and we ended up paying to park farther away on one of the larger streets around the old town. The hotel itself is beautiful, in a historic-looking building on a central old-town square. You can walk everywhere from there. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped, with nice showers and beds. The terrace on the third floor overlooking the square would be a lovely spot for a bar. But the bartender was extremely rude when I asked to take a few photos of the scenery. On a clear, sunny afternoon, with only two other people there, he insisted the awning stay out for “other guests” because of “the rain”. It opens and retracts with a button in five seconds, too. I’d have liked to share a nice photo from up there, but couldn’t.

The staff were kind, and breakfast was generous. The rooms and shared spaces were very clean, with a few nice surprises waiting in the rooms when we arrived. They also have a pretty cool Bluetooth-connected sound system in the rooms.

This is a small boutique hotel right in the center of Logroño. The service was amazing, with staff who were extremely helpful and professional. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and had great air conditioning, showers, and beds.

After our Camino walk, this hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect, and I enjoyed the Destination Santiago massage. I highly recommend it.
