Pension La Redonda

We had a clean room and good service at reception, and I think they gave us the best room available. The location is central and it was fairly quiet. I could tolerate the smell, but my wife had trouble sleeping and staying in the room. The whole place had a stale furniture or damp smell, especially the pillows. We were lucky to have a window we could open, though I can't say for sure whether the other rooms lack windows. Our window looked onto neglected backyards from the first floor. I had hoped for a room facing the main street, but I suspect they don't have any. At night, bathroom light shines directly toward the beds because the doors are opposite them. Two more small but bright lights by the entrance stayed on too, and we couldn't figure out how to turn them off. Reception closes after 11 p.m.

Good value for the money, with a great spot in the city centre. Everything was clean and the bathroom had all the equipment we needed. I stayed in April 2025 while walking the Camino de Santiago, days 10-11, day 7.

We were glad we chose it. The room was small but worked fine, and having a private room with a bathroom was nice while doing the Camino on a budget. It's right in the city centre, by the cathedral.

This used to be called (La tortilla), known around Logroño for its delicious Tortillas. The owners have changed over the past couple of months, and it's now (La Redonda). I've been in a few times over the last few days. The food and service are still really good.
