We slept really well at Hotel Monaco, despite hearing that late check-ins can sometimes be noisy. The room was spotless, the beds comfy, and our west-facing view toward the hill was lovely in the morning and evening. Breakfast was generous, too. The manager was upbeat and helpful with check-in and all our questions. My friend and I were walking the Camino and would happily stay here again.
We stayed on 25 April while walking the Camino De Santiago, and the location worked really well for the route. Our corner room was spacious, with a large balcony, and the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The whole hotel was clean and smelled lovely. Staff were courteous and professional, always busy, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice stay, and breakfast was great.
The parking lot for larger vehicles is right outside, but we didn't find the traffic noise bothersome. Inside, the rooms were simple, tidy, and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a nice Continental-style breakfast for pilgrims.
We rented a larger place for five, and the balcony and view were top-notch. It was very clean and close to all the amenities. The coffee shop downstairs was great, and there's a good bar across the street.
Very clean apartment-style place, with new rooms and full amenities: a washer, kitchen, towel warmer, powerful ceiling fan, and a seating area. Hot water was good. Breakfast is served in the hotel. There's no bar or restaurant there yet, but the one across the street is very good and convenient. The owner of Hotel Monaco was very helpful.
