The owners were lovely, even arranging to send me the clothes I’d left behind. We also had a great time using the well-equipped barbecues. The cottages are very cozy, and I’d definitely recommend visiting the village spa.

The views of the Sierra Nevada are gorgeous, and the place feels like a real luxury. You get to sleep up in the mountains while still enjoying all the comforts of first-class accommodation.

Cave 1 holds its warmth really well and was perfect otherwise. The doors do catch on the floor, though.
