The garden out back was a favorite, a lovely spot for breakfast, a romantic dinner, or even a barbecue. The house itself mixes vintage furniture and cozy details with about a hundred years of family history, while still being modern and fully equipped, including a kitchen, washing machine, TV and DVD, and Wi-Fi. Javier and Blanca gave us a warm welcome with local wine and fruit, then shared information about the island and places to see. We loved the privacy and chance to get away from tourist crowds, while still having picturesque beaches, Loro park, and small old villages nearby. One of the best places we've stayed.

Spectacular!!

We were there in the first half of July 2023, and this was just right for a quiet rural break close to everything without all the bustle. The northern highway ends nearby, so places like Icod, Puerto Santa Cruz, Teide, Orotava, La Laguna, the airport, shops, beaches, and many other wonderful spots are easy to reach. The house is an old island-style building with lots of history and an unusual layout that takes a few days to get used to. What I loved most was the patio: roomy and peaceful, with space to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and no urge to leave. The rest of the house works very well for a short stay or a holiday. July also brings events and festivals, including San Benito in La Laguna and San Pedro and Virgen del Carmen in Puerto Santa Cruz. Don Javier was attentive before, during, and after the stay. Thank you so much. The "scientists" want to come back, hopefully soon.

There are three parking spaces reserved for the house, and several familiar supermarkets nearby for groceries. The place is in the middle of the island, which made it easy to explore from one end to the other. Inside, we found plenty of maps and tourist guides, and the Wi-Fi was good. Mobile reception was stable in the area, which was much appreciated. The owners were friendly and regularly checked how we were doing. The house had everything we needed for a great holiday, and I highly recommend it.
