Apartamentos Leganitos

The only thing going for this hotel is its central location. The room smelled musty, mold covered the bathroom, and shower water wouldn't drain. There was no reception, making it very hard to get in touch. My towels weren't changed, and they didn't answer despite my calling several times. I won't be coming back.

Communication was a little difficult, but everything else was great. The room felt cozy, was clean, and had enough room for clothes. The location is very good and safe, with a police station close by.

The location was the one good thing. The beds were small, the place smelled musty, and there was no soap or shampoo. It was noisy, and without staff there was no control over the noise or people behaving disruptively. I was first put in a room right beside the washer and dryer, where the noise from San Agustín Market was unbearable. After I complained, they moved me to a smaller room that still wasn't comfortable. I stayed three days, and they didn't clean during that time because that's their policy. The price and service don't match at all. It was a terrible stay, and so far my only bad experience in Europe.

My father died the day before I was due to arrive, so I called and complained for two days asking for a refund or to change the date. They wouldn't answer until I finally got to speak with the apartment manager. She said that since I hadn't booked in advance and policy was policy, she couldn't change the date. She didn't even offer another weekend. All she cared about was repeating the policy, though they could have given me a day or another month. They'd already taken the money.
