The location made it easy to visit the city center, and there were several good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Staff were extremely friendly, and their message gave clear instructions. Getting in by code was really convenient, so there was no room card to lose. The room was super clean, and the shower was comfortable and spacious. I liked the coffee and tea, too. There is luggage storage, though space is limited. A shame there's no glass wall to keep the bathroom floor dry, though I think it may be there for accessibility. The soundproofing is weak, and we could clearly hear noise from the corridor.

I was surprised to find capsule coffee and a mini refrigerator in the room, and I loved the cafeteria downstairs. It's easy to find food nearby. The room had lovely interior design, was very clean and quiet, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is great for walking around, with easy public transport access, and the price was really economical compared with nearby hotels. I'll definitely book this hostel again when I'm in Madrid.

Basic, clean, no-thrills hotel in a great location, and you really can't beat the price. It has what you need for a good stay in Madrid. There's a coffee shop and a nice tapas chain downstairs for starting the day. Americans, book a larger room!!! We'd consider coming back next time. We left our phone in a room, so we'll see when and how we get it back.

The room had no natural light at all, and the rooms are both small and noisy. I could hear the next room's TV and people talking, as well as pipes, footsteps, and people coming and going through the mail door. The whole place is loud. The WiFi was unusably slow: my phone kept switching to mobile data, and when it did work, download was around 0.5-1.0 Mbps and upload 0.3-0.8. Sometimes it lost the server connection and wouldn't reconnect for a long time. I messaged the supervisor on Whatsapp, but he said he couldn't do much because he wasn't there. The location is good, but it took an hour to get my room number, and the check-in process is bureaucratic. There's never anyone at the entrance. For around 100€ a night, you can get a Madrid hotel with amenities like a gym and swimming pool.
