We had clean, comfortable rooms, and breakfast was fresh with lots of choice. The rooms were quiet despite the busy location, and most sights were a short walk away. On the rainy day, there were umbrellas for everyone to use. The staff were welcoming and especially helpful when they arranged a taxi for our group on departure day. The receptionist even walked with us to meet the driver.

The main reason to stay here is the location, right in the centre of Madrid in the middle of one of the most visited squares. The service is friendly, and the rooms are cleaned daily. But the rooms are small, the interior needs updating, breakfast is weak, and you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms because the sound insulation is poor. If you won't spend much time in the room, I think it's good value for money.
