The mattress was fine, and both the room and bathroom were clean, but those few positives don't make the high price worthwhile. For what I paid for a single room, the quality was extremely disappointing. I'd advise staying farther from the city center. Even somewhere a little more expensive might be better value. I'd only call this place tolerable if you're desperate and bring earplugs. The building felt poorly maintained and unwelcoming. The front door was cracked, and the floors inside looked almost like a jail. In my room, the door wouldn't shut properly unless I forced it, and the inside lock was completely broken. That caused a lot of stress when I arrived. The bathroom faucet head was damaged and kept falling off. Having to deal with the lock for over 30 minutes after check-in really ruined my comfort. Staff support was another problem. The information desk closed at 3 p.m., so after that you're on your own if something goes wrong. There was also a constant “ssshhhh” sound, probably machinery, even with the air conditioning off. Thankfully I had earplugs, or sleep would have been nearly impossible. The walls were extremely thin, and I could clearly hear the hallway and neighboring rooms.
