The location is hard to beat, right by the Metro and Mercadona, my favorite grocery store, with tourist attractions within walking distance. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel goes by two names, Aparthotel Tribunal and Tribu Malasaña, depending on where you book. There were several small issues in the room. The kitchen tap dripped and kept distracting me while I was trying to sleep. I asked them to fix it, and after two days someone from the front desk came and tightened it. I didn't use the kitchen sink after that. The split unit AC didn't seem to work, and I couldn't turn it off or adjust the temperature. The walls were so thin I could hear the people next door showering and talking. The floor lamp had no switch, so I had to unplug it. The hotel should take better care of these little things.

Aparthotel Tribunal/Tribu Malasana is right beside Tribunal Metro stop, which makes getting around easy. I've stayed twice, first after arriving in Madrid and again when I returned after a couple of weeks in Malaga. The rooms, bathrooms, and small kitchenette area were all very clean. The staff were outstanding. On my second stay, I needed help dealing with a local business and was having trouble communicating. Roxana took time to help me make an appointment with their staff and share my contact information. Thank you, Roxana. You made my stay much better.

The rooms were huge and really good, and the location was excellent. The staff were great too. It was a wee bit expensive, but I was happy with all four stars.

The sink had a bad smell, but they sorted it out within a day. The rooms can be a little noisy at night, though that makes sense given how central the hotel is. It was a really nice stay. Special thanks to Sandra and Jose.
