What stood out most was how every employee made us feel welcome, from the housekeepers and reception team to the lovely woman at the bar. They were all friendly and seemed glad we were there, which is rare to see so consistently. The hotel is in a great central spot, close enough to walk to the museums, Botanical Gardens, and Retiro, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was lovely, and there’s also a bar and afternoon snacks. A terrific place to stay.

The building has beautiful architecture and loads of character, and the people were kind. The location was perfect, with everything no more than a 20-minute walk away. There were snacks from 4-6 pm, but we were always out and missed them. We had two rooms for four people, and both had A/C. One stayed plenty cool and the other less so, though it was still comfortable. It was over 90° outside every day, so it was super hot.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was comfortable, the staff were great, breakfast was good, and everything else I could think of was up to scratch. The location is central but quiet, with all the ‘go to’ places nearby. It was my first time staying at one of this group’s hotels, and it was that good that I’d actively look for one again. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making my stay so memorable.

This was our fourth visit, and we’re already looking forward to the next one 😜 The place keeps exceeding our expectations. From the warm, professional welcome back to the relaxing atmosphere and clean rooms, the whole stay felt seamless. The staff are exceptional: attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s rare to get such consistently high-quality service over several years. Highly recommended.

The staff are what made the stay so special. From reception and concierge to the restaurant, bar, housekeeping, and room service teams, everyone was warm, gracious, and attentive. We felt looked after the whole time. The Catalonia is beautiful, elegant, and impeccably maintained, and our stay was truly luxurious and memorable.
