Chueca Exclusive - MADflats Collection

I've stayed in plenty of hostels, and I wouldn't recommend this one. The staff were genuinely nice and trying their best, and the location is quite decent, but there were several problems. A piece of chewing gum on the locker made me question the general cleanliness. The bunk bed ladder was broken, which felt dangerous, and the old beds were so loud that even a small movement made them shake. Breakfast was nothing special, maybe even bad. For all that, the stay was really expensive, and I was only there one night.

The neighborhood had a fun, friendly feel and plenty of places to eat nearby. I had a smooth, pleasant stay, and the check-in staff were welcoming and helpful. My Superior Double was clean, smelled nice, and had a stylish look. I especially liked the little balcony. Highly recommended.

The staff service was terrible. The blonde woman with glasses looked really depressed while working, and I think she should break that habit. If this is how she works, maybe she should stop the job, lol. Don't stay here. The locker was broken and the bed was uncomfortable.

The desk staff were so friendly, especially Samantha and Candy, who helped me whenever I needed something. The location is amazing, right in the middle of all the action around Chueca, and about a five-minute walk from Gran Via metro, which connects to all the main stations. Rooms are a decent size, but the bed frames seemed weak. A 100kg person on the bed above me made it shake a lot, which was uncomfortable at night. The toilet could use better ventilation too. Still, it's very decent for the price and a good place for a few days in Madrid. Recommended.
