A typical hostal where you get what you pay for, but the front desk staff were excellent. They gave me useful information and helped with my bags. The rooms were clean and had that fresh bleach smell. It's also close to Madrid's tourist spots and shopping.

The beds were very uncomfortable, and there was only one pillow per bed. They provide body wash but no shampoo or conditioner. The rooms seemed okay and not dirty, though they didn't feel especially clean overall, despite what some reviews said. We chose this hostel for its great location and the fairly good reviews, and we just left today. If sleeping arrangements aren't important to you, it may suit you. Otherwise, you get what you pay for.
