The bedrooms are nice and clean, but the communication ruined the whole experience for me. I left a ring in my room. It wasn't expensive, but it meant a lot to me sentimentally. We called on the day we left to ask staff to keep it safe, but nobody picked up. No one answered the next day either, so we emailed. A staff member said they'd speak with the cleaning team, then the next day we were told they couldn't find it. I definitely left the ring there. I'll never know how or why it disappeared. I think this could have been avoided if someone had answered the phone sooner.

I had a wonderful stay at this newly renovated hostel. There was even a heated towel rack in the bathroom. Luggage storage cost $1, which was worth it when I had a night flight and wanted to shop after checkout.

We travel to Spain every year. We booked 10 months ahead, but they canceled our reservation two months before arrival with a lie, apparently because they could now rebook it for TWICE as much. Bookings.com didn't help either. NEVER again. Do NOT book with them.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, each with its own bathroom, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's good accommodation in central Madrid, though the price is too high.

Because of the covid situation, I couldn't travel to Madrid. Hostel Caracedo first said they would refund me, but now they refuse and aren't answering my messages. DON'T GO TO THIS HOSTEL, THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY!
